We’ve found an interesting and awesome feature that night-time bloggers will love it. WordPress now enables you to work on a dark admin area with a plugin called Dark Mode. Let’s take a look at how to easily add Dark Mode to your WordPress admin dashboard below.

Why Use Dark Mode in WordPress?

Dark Mode can bring some benefits to its users. The first and greatest one is that Dark Mode supports your health. You know that using such electrical devices as computers, tablets, etc. can have a negative effect on your eyesight, especially after sunset. With Dark Mode, white and gray colors are replaced with darker colors which reduce eye strain, making it easier for you to work at night. Besides, depending on different screen technology, dark colors can help to save energy consumed on your device.

By default, WordPress goes with eight Admin Color Schemes. Those schemes are only applied to the Admin toolbar and WordPress sidebar, while Dark Mode is applied to the main content area of the dashboard. This allows users to use Dark Mode in combination with an Admin Color Scheme.
